AMICABLE SERVICE

AMICABLE SERVICE

Restaurants make their money from friendly interactions and providing memorable service to customers. This chapter aims to capture the essence of that connection between staff and customer at the Mondovi Family Restaurant.

Robby, one of the owners of the restaurant, greets a customer who’s ready to pay for their meal. This is just one of her many daily duties, alongside working as a waitress and managing carry-out deliveries.

Amy holds two trays of burgers and fries while speaking with a table of customers, ensuring that their orders go to the correct individual.

Robby intently listens to a young boy's order, jotting it down on a server notepad. The servers still use these old fashioned notepads for accuracy and preciseness.

The table Amy was serving earlier receives their check, and she asks if there is anything else the customers might need.

A quick chat is held between owner and customer following the payment process at the front of the restaurant.

A stack of server tickets after a long day of hard work. Despite being located in a smaller community, the restaurant typically serves roughly 200-300 people a week.
